The gigantic truck next to it screamed in reply, “BA-ROOOOOT!!!”
There is an airplane taking a break,
asleep on a cloud half the night.
When its tired wings began to ache
the cloud offered perfect respite.

but to lie on a cloud was a big mistake.
It fell from the cloud like a big snowflake.
I decided to learn how to fly, so for help
I opened a book I’d pulled from the shelf
and pasted torn pages all over myself,
just like a paper bird’s feathers.
There’s a train in the station that won’t release the brake.
It doesn’t want to leave because it has a stomachache.
Even though the passengers are screaming, “We’ll be late!”
They’re the ones whose fault it is. They all over-ate.
