I’d been meaning to take pictures of the garden each friday to track the weekly progress this year, especially since I’m really trying to maximize production with some succession row planting of certain veggies. However, I’ve been slack as usual and haven’t taken a picture since I put the seeds in a month ago. So, now it’s been just over 30 days and I figure that’s a good a time as any to post an update, so . . .

Above is a shot of the beds after some surgical hoeing to get out the weeds.

Here the snap peas are visible at about 6″ tall. I dug a few out to thin them and gave them to a neighbor. Hopefully they transplant well.

And here’s a bed with (closest to farthest row) Romain, Arugula and Spinach. I thinned these guys out today and we had a really nice, quick salad of arugula and baby spinach topped oil and vinegar with some sliced turkey and pepperoni.

Let it Grow…
Did you start the pepperoni from seeds or did you buy plants?
