$60!

That's amazing. Dumbfounding. For a private concert for 30 or 40 people, I'd pay $60 to see someone perform.

There must be a better way to make music more available and accessible. People wonder why jazz or other music that depends on being performed live is dying. Who can afford to drop $150 to take out their wife and listen to music for 90 minutes? That's twice our monthly entertainment budget.

i am jealous but still could only be jealous if that show came within reach of cincy. i too refuse to pay over $60 or $70 bucks for a show. steely dan is here soon and thought it would be cool to check them out again until i viewed the ticket prices between $76 and $146 plus all the ticketmaster fees. way outa my league. watched griffey jr hit # 603 and 604 this week, free, well worth it. the reds may suck but i was fortunate to watch them win two.
