- The joy of $8 gas - Los Angeles Times - Sure, $8 gas is unfair to poor people, but so is all of capitalism. Rich people get more of the globe's resources. No one has a right to cheap gas any more than he has a right to other things needed for a full and productive life, like an iPhone . . .

$60!
That’s amazing. Dumbfounding. For a private concert for 30 or 40 people, I’d pay $60 to see someone perform.
There must be a better way to make music more available and accessible. People wonder why jazz or other music that depends on being performed live is dying. Who can afford to drop $150 to take out their wife and listen to music for 90 minutes? That’s twice our monthly entertainment budget.
If you hold the apple key and the “n” at the same time, then press the “n” again, you’ll be able to spell Mañana the way the Spaniards intended…
Thanks Nav, unfortunately I’m typing on a Dell. And yeah Jim, lots of dough for a show. I’m on the “Red Bank Wedgie Jackson show” budget.

Hey, check it out… You’re right. It’s the option key.
i am not familiar with this there theivery corporation group…where should i begin????
i am jealous but still could only be jealous if that show came within reach of cincy. i too refuse to pay over $60 or $70 bucks for a show. steely dan is here soon and thought it would be cool to check them out again until i viewed the ticket prices between $76 and $146 plus all the ticketmaster fees. way outa my league. watched griffey jr hit # 603 and 604 this week, free, well worth it. the reds may suck but i was fortunate to watch them win two.
