Tenacious BJ

The brothers Willis (BJ and Jim) rocked the station (Connolly) on tuesday evening in Belmar, NJ. Beej ripped the first and third sets in the trio format. Highlights included “Message in a Bottle”, “I Shot the Sherrif” and “Moanin’”. Jim joined for a ripping 2nd set. “Cissy Strut” and “Straight no Chaser” to name a couple of the stellar tunes. A fun night. The cousins’ Lazewski represented, and Kent was there tipping the Smithwicks with the best of us. Not too often you get to see music like that with the Tenacious BJ… (and Jim). A nice way to approach the end of another summer on the Jersey Shore.

No movement. No progress. The doldrums. Continue reading ‘Day 44′
