So Jay’s got a brother now. Speaking from experience, that’s one of the best things a guy can have. I put up a quick set of pics over on flickr. If you’re on my friends/family list go have a look.
Jack and Kel are doing great. Thanks everyone for the phone calls and emails. We’re lucky as hell to have such great family and friends.

Holiday weekend greetings. Hope you had a chance to sample some sounds from last weeks picks. This week finds the dial tuning in on these artists worth checking into:
Saru- Downtempo Dojo
decent downtempo, hypnotic grooves to start or end the day
Eddie Fisher- Eddie Fisher and the Next One Hundred Years
Grant Green meets Hendrix. Thanks to Pandora for this one.
Elek Bascik- Guitar Conceptions
Solid jazz guitar from Paris.
Enjoy.

While getting organized around here I came across my audio CD binders. I started thumbing through them and realized that despite an 85GB iTunes music library (1414 albums), I’ve only ripped around half of my CD collection. So today, while I’m wrapping up a few projects that will need to go on auto pilot for several weeks while I’m out on new dad leave, I’m ripping a continuous stream of CDs.
