Anyone in Monmouth county who is looking for something to do tonight should go to the Downtown Cafe in Red Bank tonight to see Steve Cumberland’s band Woodfish >> http://www.woodfishmusic.com/bio/. I went to see them play last night @ Don Hills in the West Village and they absolutely tore it up. Cumby Jr shreds on the ax and their bassist is up there with Flea and Les Claypool…seriously!!! Anyhow, if intereted, they are going on at 10pm playing 2 sets. Oh..and there is no cover charge either! Later

how long did they play for????
Last night they only played 1 set (which was about and hour long) as there were 2 other bands that opened for them. You would def like them. I’d call them a cross between Blues Traveler and the Chili Peppers .
JJ I almost had enough juice in me to make my way to Red Bank on Fri but alas I pussed out. If you can recall way back in the day Dom the drummer was the drummer from my first band. And the bassist is his brother, small world. Anyway it seems like they play alot locally so I’ll make it out one of these days. I haven’t been Making it out to Red for sundays in a while but I’ll be back there pretty soon. Anyway Ive got every tuesday at Connelly Station in belmar staring May16 so come check it out.

Is this steve cumberland that was in Johnny seven?? Is he the guitar or is it his band like this says and if so when is next shows?????? any chance of getting old johny seven cds mine are all scratched and sadly I still like listening to them, How is Joe and steve case and sparky???
