The House Committee on Energy & Commerce has sided with the telcos and rejected legislation that would prevent a multi-tiered internet. There’s still some hope that the Senate will be swayed by intelligent discourse instead of the well-heeled telco lobbyists. BusinessWeek has a good overview of the recent House activity.
