There is No God

. . . is the piece that Penn Jillette wrote for NPR’s This I Believe series. It’s a good essay. In fact there are several great essays on the NPR site as part of this series. I wonder if a similar series mightn’t be a good exercise for the WB collective.

    there was a fantastic narrative on npr a week or two ago about an underwater epiphany that teller had while filming a television special in the bahamas. something about a doplhin coming out of the grayness and getting nose to nose with him. it was as if they were connecting on some level, but not our level. i wish i could post the link. maybe i can find it .

    Assuming that the wbb version would be open to topics other than religion - certainly not the only thing that people believe! - I’d give it an Amen (pun intended). I’d be happy to digress from the Manifesto to submit an entry on Rich People that I’ve been incubating for some time.
