Cheetahs

I was given the opportunity yesterday to shoot an AD Campaign for the Cincinnati Zoo.
They released two of their cheetas on a 50 acre farm to let them run and exercise.
Can’t seem to figure out how to post a pic but you can view them on my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/jcphoto/

    Great pictures… Wish I could run like that…. (Also wish I was that good looking.)

    {Also… Sorry I’ve been so absent from the blog, I’ll be back soon.}

    the cats were somewhat tame.
    they had a zip line with a toy rabbit like thing attache to the end, they would release them from the back of a van and let them chase after the moving toy. at the end they simply put a leash on them and walked them around and let them play together. they were 17 month old brothers. they also had a Annatolian Sheppard Dog on hand that can control them in the event one would decide to run off. they ran at about 60mph and i could only get about 3 or 4 pics each run.

    john:
    those photos are fantastic. are they digital shots?
    also, if you’re interested, you can post a photo to the wb blog directly from within flickr (meaning, once you post your photo to flickr, you can click the “blog this” button on the photo and it will send it as a blog entry to the WB site. it requires about a minute to setup flickr to do this and it’s pretty cool so let me know (esp. if you are going to post more photos in the future and i hope you do since your shots give me something to work towards ;-)
