Last night was very sad for Lori and I. Our dog, Logan, has been in poor health for a while, slowly suffering from congestive heart failure. A couple weeks ago he really stopped eating. Last night he took a sudden and dramatic turn for the worse. Just after midnight, I had him put down at an emergency pet hospital. This photo is the first one I took with our new digital camera a couple years ago, so it’s the first one in iPhoto. I will miss him.

I’m a new face to you on this online chat, and I hope you don’t mind a little note from a stranger. It’s always real difficult to lose a family pet, especially ones that bring some much love and joy to your lives. Dogs make you laugh, sometimes make you mad(when they peeeeee in the wrong place), and are loyal to the core. Hold onto the good memories and know your little pooch is in a better place (like Chris mentioned). Dog spelled backwards…

although i never met logan i have a dog of my own who goes to work with me and just about everywhere else i go, i know that when her day comes it is not going to be easy for me. deepest sympathies from my family to yours.
