up until this week, I’d been getting several good posts off each day. But with the upcoming election, i just haven’t been able to find the time to get around to WB this week.
Tuesday Nov 2 should be *very* interesting. Having now had a good two years under my belt I can say that there is a hell of a lot more to running an election than I ever thought. There are also so many things that government could be doing on so many fronts to make the election process better.
On the one hand, I see irate citizens who are just plain frustrated with the inefficiencies of election management and it is clear that the vast majority of these citizens are misdirecting their anger. On the other hand, I can’t blame these people for their misdirected anger since it is almost impossible to tell who is accountable for what when it comes to running elections. It has taken me months to figure it out and I have the benefit of daily interaction with most of the accountable people.
What I have learned is that elections are run for the people, by the people. By a lot of people, actually. And people are liable to make mistakes. Some more than others.
I’ll be taking an occasional peek at this page .
So anyway, I’ll try to get around to publishing a few of the posts that are currently sitting around in my drafts folder. But if you don’t hear from me, at least you know why.

Unfortunately I only have about 5 minutes to write this as I have to leave for the airport, but I think that we all should take a very serious look what is going on here.

I’m still getting about 8 hours of life out of my iPod battery, but when it starts to go downhill, it’s nice to know I can get 22 hours of life out of a $40 replacement battery.
I hope JJ has a video camera at home, because if he does, i’m certain we’ll soon be seeing a remake of this gem.
