This Old Chair

Here I am, back again, was lost in the mountains of my family’s home, the great wide west of Colorado. I am a man divided. The city and the country, I’m addicted to both. Near ten thousand feet on a mountaintop, looking out across evergreens and aspens, hummingbirds and hawks and a bald eagle in flight. Arrived back in the humid congestion of NYC last night around the time a young bear found its way onto the deck of my parents house, then ambled off. I love the city, but I wonder where my lost log cabin is. I wonder why I wasn’t born in 1776.

There must be some sort of lob cabin channel you can get on DirecTV, isn’t there?
